Leasing Your Vehicle
Everything to know before, during, and after your SCG lease.

1. How Leasing at SCG Works
Every car on scgautos.com shows its full lease pricing up front - down payment, monthly, term, and buyout. Pick your car, place your $495 order fee online - it verifies your account and makes you a member - and we schedule your signing. You sign, pay the amount due at signing, and drive. There is no application to wait on and no bank in the middle.
2. Identity Verification
We verify identity on every lease: a valid, unexpired government-issued ID, and federal compliance screening.
3. Terms and Pricing
Terms are 6 and 12 months. The exact, binding numbers for every car - down payment, monthly, and buyout - are printed on that car's listing. What you see on the listing is what you sign.
4. Due at Signing
Your amount due at signing is the down payment shown on the listing plus your first month - one number, printed on every listing. There is no security deposit, no admin fee and no doc fee. The $495 order fee you already paid verifies your account and makes you a member; it is separate from this total and it is not refundable.
5. Insurance Requirements
Before any vehicle is delivered, you must provide proof of full-coverage insurance on the vehicle with our finance company listed as lessor and loss payee - we provide the exact details when you order. We verify the policy directly with your carrier before keys move - no exceptions. Keeping the policy active is a condition of the lease; a lapsed policy is a default under your agreement.
6. GPS and Vehicle Equipment
Every leased vehicle carries a GPS locator and starter-interrupt device for the life of the lease, installed at our expense. This is disclosed here and in your lease agreement. The car protects itself.
7. Mileage
Each listing states its mileage allowance. Most vehicles carry a standard monthly allowance; collector and limited-production vehicles may carry a lower allowance (typically 500 miles per month) with a per-mile charge for overage, stated in your agreement before you sign. Drive anywhere - road trips are fine. The allowance is about total miles, not where you take it.
8. Payments, Taxes, and Fees
Monthly payments are collected by autopay on the same day each month. Taxes and government fees are calculated at signing based on your registration location and are disclosed before you sign. Tolls, tickets, and violations incurred during your lease are your responsibility and are passed through to you, with a processing fee for any notice we must handle. Some states assess an annual personal property tax on leased vehicles; where applicable, it is passed through and is not included in your monthly payment.
9. Moving or Changing Where the Car Is Kept
Your vehicle is registered based on where it is garaged. If you move, or want to keep the vehicle at a different address or in a different state for more than 30 days, notify us first - registration, tax, and insurance may need to be updated. Travel is unrestricted; a permanent change of garaging address without notice is a breach of your agreement.
10. Lease-End Options
At the end of your term you have three options: buy the car at the buyout price that was printed on the listing the day you ordered; re-lease it on a new term at the then-current terms; or return it. On return, we complete an inspection, and reconcile mileage and condition. The buyout you saw is the buyout you get.
11. Ending a Lease Early
Stop whenever you need to. Give us 21 days' notice before your next monthly and we pick the car up, free - no early termination fee. With less than 21 days' notice, that one upcoming monthly is all that is due. Want to keep the car instead? Ask for the early buyout and we walk you through the exact number.
This page is a plain-language guide. Your signed lease agreement is the operative document and governs in all respects. Leases are offered by SCG Autohaus LLC, with AJ Finance LLC as lessor. Estimated figures exclude taxes and government fees, which are disclosed at signing.
